A Different Viewpoint
When you look at what others have to say about various things in the NBA, you will get a wide variety of answers. You can ask questions like, "who is the best basketball player today" and you will get a long list. You can ask, "what is the best team in the NBA" and you will also get several answers. The sole reason is because people are different and as a result what they think is different too. However, is there an influence to why this is?
When you look at certain NBA fans, they will have their favorites and dislikes. They will probably like certain teams and players and hate others with the same passion. This can be because of ignorance or lack of knowledge. Sometimes kids may make up ridiculous thoughts because of what they see is right. Some people also do not have enough understanding of the game to make correct judgment. However, many of today"s fans have a good understanding of how the NBA works. They too are die hard fans who bleed for certain players. However, they do so because of several reasons. They may root for their home team because of the connection they have with them. There is a high chance that fans root for their home teams because they can relate.
On the other hand, certain people hate other teams because of competition. When Lebron James first came into the league, many fans liked him because of his exciting style of play. He was also humble and nice to the public. However, when you go around, you will see that many people dislike Lebron James as well. Why is this the case, what has Lebron done? People act differently if they are threatened. If a specific player they love is not as good as another player, they may learn to hate that player. At the time, many people said that Lebron was going to be one of the greatest players in NBA history. It made a lot of people mad because it downright pushes aside what their favorite players and teams have done.
This is why the term haters have been coined. People love to hate things that they do not have and things that make statements outright. They will never learn to accept all viewpoints other than their own. If someone said that Dirk was a good player, someone will say that he is not. This is why opinions are not fully supported in closed minded people.
