         <title>Fishing In The Fall</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-05-44-02-711.html</link>
<description> There is no better time of the year to fish than the fall in my opinion. Fishing in the fall has always been my most productive time of the year as well. I&#039;m not sure of the scientific reason for this, but it&#039;s always seemed to me that the fish are &quot;stocking up&quot; on food before the really cold weather sets in. At least this is how it seems in the rivers and streams of the west. Once the really cold weather sets in, the fishes metabolism slows to a point that they simply don&#039;t eat as much (which obviously means that catching them is that much more difficult).

<title>How to Develop a Pattern for Catching Bass Part 1</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-04-12-05-204.html</link>
<description> Part 1 - Understanding Seasonal Tendencies of Bass How many times have you heard or read a newspaper on a bass tournament winner using such and such pattern for winning the tournament. What are they talking about? What is a pattern? A pattern is the method, how, what, sometimes when, and where in a given lake you are catching bass consistently. There can be a pattern within a pattern and there can also be more than one pattern used during the day. Typically patterns are easier to develop for reservoirs.

<title>How to Develop a Pattern for Catching Bass Part 2</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-03-28-03-861.html</link>
<description> Part 2 - Developing a Pattern Based On Seasonal Tendencies of Bass By viewing pattern fishing from the seasonal tendencies of bass, you simplify finding and catching bass on any given day. You start with a simple pattern that may or may not have to be fine tuned for local conditions. Winter: Water is cold, even in central Arkansas. Water temperature is usually in the mid to upper 30&quot;s. Here comes that one day where air temps are in the 50&quot;s, you have been cooped up for a while and you want to go fishing.

         <title>Lessons for Anglers From a Fishy Education</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-02-44-02-252.html</link>
<description> Humans have a tendency to believe most animals are relatively stupid - especially fish. When anglers believe fish have limited powers of observation and intelligence, they tend to exclude the lessons most schools of fish teach their young. When they do so, they continue to believe old wives tales and misguided assumptions about fish behavior. In particular, they underestimate the capacity of the fish they are pursuing to practice the hook-avoidance techniques that are a regular part of a fishy education.

         <title>Spinning Reel Tips</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-01-56-03-883.html</link>
<description> For those of us who prefer spin fishing over other types of fishing, our spinning reels are of great importance to us. It&#039;s always a good idea to not only make sure that your spinning reel is working properly, but also to make sure that you&#039;re employing the proper size spinning reel for the type of fish that you&#039;re fishing for. All too many times I&#039;ve seen anglers using fishing equipment (including spinning reels) that are much too large for the fish they&#039;re attempting to catch. This can cost the average angler bites and fish, which is not a good thing.

         <title>Does The Weather Effect Fish?</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-01-04-01-504.html</link>
<description> So, does the weather really effect fish? We all know it effects fishermen. Fishing for Steelhead in the cold and rain can be a horrible experience and make you wonder why you took up fishing in the first place, but does the weather effect the fish under the water? The weather and fish are as linked together as a pair of Siamese twins, and it has nothing to do with the comfort of the fisherman. As a matter of fact it&#039;s not even about fish, its about all animals in nature. Have you ever noticed how the cows in your local field seem to huddle together as a storm approaches?

         <title>Researching Before Fishing</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-05-00-08-03-266.html</link>
<description> Have you thought about going fishing lately? Why not try it yourself. You really don&quot;t have to be an expert if all you want to do is enjoy basking in the sun while holding your favorite fishing rod and waiting for your target specie of fish to tag your line. But you can&quot;t just go in the water and cast your line if you don&quot;t have the right knowledge, even just the basics of what you really need to do. It is better to be safe at all times even if an activity means you will have a lot of fun doing it.

<title>How To Make Easy Catfish And Carp Baits - Simple Cool Ingredients For Instant Catches!</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-04-23-12-03-290.html</link>
<description> I&quot;m always messing about with baits it&quot;s so creative and fun. I even make my own flapjacks too! Making instant carp and catfish baits that really work can be very easy and simple without the need for too much technical know-how! Fishermen go on about &quot;nutritional attraction baits&quot; versus &quot;flavoured attractor baits&quot; versus &quot;fake and plastic baits&quot; and so on and the difference in the prices of these baits can be enormous. But who cares what you use as long as it&quot;s safe, does the fish no harm and really catches you fish!

         <title>Kingfish Fishing - Florida Instructional Guide</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-09-04-22-12-01-523.html</link>
<description> All up and down the east coast of Florida has a great kingfish fishery where anglers can expect to do fairly well. The bag limit is just 2 fish per person; however we believe this is the perfect limit to help conserve this fishery. When fishing for kingfish the bait of choice is usually live bait such as a pilchard or threadfin herring. You will always want to use about 6 to 12 inches of wire on a single J hook. Generally the depth of choice is 90 to 120 feet of water although king mackerel can be caught much shallower and much deeper.

         <title>Alien Influence On Largemouth Bass</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/fishing/news_2007-08-31-12-20-03-645.html</link>
<description> Bass may sometimes travel in schools, but they go to school, too, especially during the summer. In bigger impoundments like Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake, a lot of them have even attended a few Tournament 101 lectures for extra credit. We have taught them well. They&quot;ve learned about our worms and our creature baits and all those wobbly things with fancy paint. Of course, they haven&quot;t all paid attention. You can still throw the same old things and catch some little truants and juvenile delinquents with battered lips.
