<title>Forget Exotic Ski Resorts, France is Still Favourite With Brits</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-30-21-36-02-956.html</link>
<description> The world of skiing is becoming increasingly more interesting as new ski frontiers open up, offering snow sport fans the chance to ski in more exotic locations than ever before. Japan, Chile, Lebanon, Slovakia, Bulgaria and many more countries not renowned for their mountains are attracting British skiers who are looking for a ski experience that&#039;s a little out of the ordinary. However, despite the availability of these new destinations, which are gaining a bigger slice of the ski market, France still remains the most popular location to ski for the Brits and it&#039;s not hard to see why.

<title>The Fundamental Reason Why Skiers Get Stuck On The Skiing Plateau</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-30-10-28-02-552.html</link>
<description> Imagine two identical twins standing on top of the ski hill, both muscular and fit, and neither of them has skied before. Will they have identical behaviour and ski the same? If the twins have different thoughts then they will ski differently because it is the invisible world of thought that is responsible for creating what is experienced in the physical world. Different thoughts will create different skiing experiences. One twin is cautious about the idea of skiing, whereas the other wants to go for it.

<title>Water Skiing Tips From a One Day Star</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-30-08-56-03-314.html</link>
<description> One of the ultimate dreams of my life was to learn to water ski. I had always envied those elegant young ladies who pranced into the water, slipped on a single ski and then smiled dazzling smiles at the plebs on the beach as they sailed by on a stream of sparkling blue ripples. The waters off Changi in Singapore just happened to provide the ingredients for the opportunity, i.e. the boat, the accompanying expert and the three rum and cokes required to gain enough bravado to have a go. I was assured that a beach start was the very thing for me.

         <title>Christmas Snow and Easter Skiing</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-29-15-28-01-906.html</link>
<description> Indeed the seasons are changing, no one can argue that the snow is coming later, but few will realise that it is also staying for much longer. We are seeing some of the best snow arriving mid to late march, and lasting well into April and May. Maybe skiers need to start changing their habits for their annual ski holidays? From my own observations over the 20 years that I have been immersed in the industry, the snow has not degraded over the past two decades; it has simply chosen to start coming later on.

<title>Snow Skiing, My Heart And Soul!</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-29-13-56-03-444.html</link>
<description> It&#039;s so cold, it&#039;s so wet, and it&#039;s so dangerous? Please let me share why you and I are not Crazy! For Everyone. Snow skiing is one of the really exciting sports that combine exhilaration, fellowship, ambience and adventure, for all levels of participants. In Europe, children are being taught to ski as young as 2 years old and on the same slopes there are people over 90 years young. There are people of every nationality, race, creed and colour. There are one armed, one legged and even blind people, involved everywhere, at some level.

<title>Livigno Italy Is The Place To Ski Duty Free</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-29-12-20-03-768.html</link>
<description> France, Austria and Switzerland are some of the most famous ski resorts for British skiers and snowboarders. But these traditional favourites are now also some of the most expensive places to get your snow fix. It&#039;s not uncommon to pay 7 Euros or more for an après ski beer in ski bars in Val D&#039;isere or Kitzbuhel - and cheap accommodation can also be hard to find. Many skiers are looking to Eastern Europe for a cheaper ski trip, but while there are certainly bargains to be found in the Balkans, the resorts tend be less developed than in Western Europe and offer less extensive terrain.

<title>Choosing The Right Clothing To Wear At The Snow</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-08-29-08-52-02-325.html</link>
<description> The ideal clothing for skiing or snowboarding should be comfortable and fit properly rather than purely being trendy. The level of protection you will need depends on conditions, the length of the trip and your experience. Ideally, the clothing should protect you from the cold and help absorb and falls. Clothing for your body: The following are some areas which should be considered: -The clothing should be breathable and water proof. Avoiding denim and cotton are a must! -You must find a balance between being warm and being to hot.

         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-07-05-12-24-03-931.html</link>
<description> Hit the Slopes with the HARD CORE! Are crunches a good exercise for the core and how important is the core for skiing and snowboarding? Before we discuss exercises for the core, we must first dive into what areas make up the &quot;core.&quot; Your core is not just made of up the &quot;abs.&quot; Your core runs from your neck down to your hips and/or from the hips up to the neck. It is also important to realize that your core is three dimensional. Meaning we have a front, back and two sides. Therefore, and effective core program should challenge all three dimensions.

         <title>5 Important Lessons From A Skiing Accident</title>
         <link>http://article-sport.info/skiing/news_2007-07-03-12-56-02-254.html</link>
<description> Having arrived back from my December ski trip somewhat battered and bruised, I found myself giving a great deal of thought to the factors leading up to my unwelcome encounter on what one would ordinarily see as a safe and predictable slope. I decided that there are five distinct lessons to be learned from my misfortune. Lesson 1: Seemingly Safe Situations Can Hide Nasty Surprises It would seem, as our week skiing in Andorra reached the last day, that I was unknown to me lining up to follow in the tracks of a fellow skier who is far better known than I.
