My 7 Favorite Beatles Albums

The Beatles were only actively recording for eight years. From "Love Me Do" in 1962 to Abbey Road in 1969.

Although they were really matchless an active band for rather short extension of time, they recorded multiplied of the greatest albums in rock history. In fact they recorded so crowded great albums that I testament chalk up to shave off some de facto fine ones to keep this list at a mere seven greatest albums.

#1 The White Album

The Beatles self titled banal album quickly got the nickname "The Clear Album" upon it's proceeds in 1968 and the title has stuck even 40 agedness later. But certainly the album has a portion extended going for it than experimental music. It's got beautiful ballads prize "Blackbird," "I Will," & "Julia." It's got great rockers conforming "Everbody's Got Something To Cache Apart from For Me & My Monkey" & the ground breaking "Helter Skelter."

It's got one of George Harrison's most compelling songs in "While My Guitar Gentley Weeps" which features a young Eric Clapton on facade guitar. It's got "Dear Prudence," "Happiness Is A Broiling Gun," "Cry Baby Cry," "Back In The USSR," & "Sexy Sadie."

So many actually positive songs in so legion differing styles. It's a truly mesmerizing dossier that only gets in a superior way the more you listen to it. In my view it's the pinnacle of rock music to date.

#2 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

While The White Album is sprawling landscape, Sgt Pepper's is also like a journey to the carnival. It's a far aggrandized cohesive album. On the contrary that's not to say it's without it's unexpected turns, in fact every song on this album is largely different than the one that came before it. The antithesis is that on Sgt. Pepper's the songs all somehow feel connected in spite of being so changed from everyone other.

While the textbook has and than it's share of decided songs, it's in reality the overall feeling of the album that keeps me going back to it. I be informed it's grow into hip to antagonism on this jotter and to speak it's overrated but I in truth sense that the people who say that aren't truly listening. This is a special album. Every song fits into the entire and deeper than any other Beatles notebook in my view, it has no weak tracks. Even Revolver (which I fancy is their moment most consistant album) has "Yellow Submarine" which while a fun singalong does grate my nerves with it's placement right in the centre of the album.

As far as continuance "overrated," in my view any book that ends with the greatest song of all time cannot maybe be overrated. And "A Date In The Life" is prerrogative that, the greatest song of all time.

#3 Revolver

Revolver is a parcel like Sgt. Pepper as far as song quality and the combo of styles without the corresponding excitation of album cohesiveness. It sounds more affection a collection of excellent songs. And there's certainly crumb wrong with a collection of bull songs. Some of Paul McCartney's most unforgetable songs are on this album including "Eleanor Rigby," "Here, There, & Everywhere," & "For No One." It ends with the tendency bending "Tomorrow Never Knows" which still 42 senescence later, much sounds like the future.

My one gripe with Revolver is that at this point I am a bit sick of "Yellow Submarine." Don't amuse me wrong, I cherish the song for what it is. But it doesn't drudge ideal right as an album track, it grows tiresome with repeated listening. I atmosphere the alike way about Ringo's rewrite on Convert Road, "Octopus's Garden."

#4 Abbey Road

Abbey Road's second side may be The Beatles greatest achievement. It's an incredibly smooth however electrifying ride. What I love about the suite is that it's not overdone. It's not heavy handed. Rubber Soul has a rather ridiculous amount of stunning songs on it. "Girl," "In My Life," "Nowhere Man," "Michelle," "I'm Looking Through You," & "Norwegian Wood" are just some of the great tunes on this album. But that career said, it doesn't position quite as formidable as the albums above

for me being of a few clunkers (by Beatles standards anyway) that bring down the album. In particular I'm talking about "What Goes On," "Wait," & "Run for Your Life."

#7 Let It Be

Let It Be is generally looked upon as a failure or as one of The Bealtes worst albums. You know you are doing nice good when an album that has songs according to "Two Of Us," "Across The Universe," "Let It Be," "I've Got A Feeling," & "Get Back" is considered a disappointment.

But it wasn't so much the songs that disappointed people approximately Let It Be, it was the haphazard sounding industry that turned common people off. Personally, I immediately think that's bona fide endearing.

But with "Dig A Pony" not being among The Beatles greatest and "One After 909" absolutely life one of The Beatles most annoying recordings in my opinion along with George Harrison's somewhat subpar offerings this time around ("I Me Mine" & "For You Blue") the album does in reality not stack up as high as the albums I've ranked above it.
